Game Development Camp at the Indiana University Media School is a rewarding experience for students interested in all sorts of games and the technology that powers them. Tower of Babel Jenga Game- This is a variation on the popular game of Jenga with players taking turns drawing a card and asking the player to their left a question about the Tower of Babel. A simple game engine is also introduced for the purpose of prototyping and demonstrating basic gameplay and mechanics. Pro Life: Look Who’s Growing- This game provides an entertaining way to educate students about pregnancy and fetal development to help promote Pro Life. Game programmers usually produce level editors and design tools for the designers to use. The Prophets Game- Be the first player to go from square number 1 to square number 80 and win the game. Students will learn programming and scripting languages, game and software testing, game design, and level editing and scripting using industry tools.
